History of Total Carrier Solutions - Total Carrier Solutions was founded on
November 1, 2006 by Jeff Ott the President and C.E.O. while working at
Project Leadership Associates PLA. (Link to Jeff Ott Resume) While focused
on disaster recovery solutions for PLA I saw a strong need for businesses to
purchase data connections from their primary data center to a Co-Location
facility or Disaster Recovery (DR) site. Helping my Project Leadership
Associates find data and internet connections for DR purposes was very
simple for me due to my connections in the telecommunications industry. I
became very busy helping clients purchase the best bandwidth from the best
carriers for the lowest prices. Another trend in I.T. was purchasing
multiple data connections from different carriers for redundancy purposes so
I was helping PLA clients save money on those redundant network connections.
The pricing I was able to procure for my clients in new connections and
internet access inevitably lead to clients asking me if I could get them
similar deals on their existing internet and data networks. From Internet
and Data connectivity clients started asking about voice services dial tone,
long distance, and Voice over Internet Protocol or VOIP. The answer was a
resounding yes I could help PLA customers and any other business customer
save money on their carrier network services by going to the wholesale
channels of the carriers. The demand for my time and providing these
services quickly grew into a full time job and the creation of business
Total Carrier Solutions. With most clients saving between 40 - 60 percent
off of their current spend word of mouth grew quickly and so did the
business.
